{"id":2981,"date":"2013-02-04T14:32:17","date_gmt":"2013-02-04T14:32:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.brazzale.com\/?p=2981"},"modified":"2023-04-12T13:12:35","modified_gmt":"2023-04-12T11:12:35","slug":"the-eco-sustainable-supply-chain-gran-moravia-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.brazzale.com\/en\/the-eco-sustainable-supply-chain-gran-moravia-2\/","title":{"rendered":"The eco-sustainable supply chain Gran Moravia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The eco-sustainable supply chain Gran Moravia, has been certified according to UNI EN ISO 22005:2008.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" style=\"margin: 0px 10px 5px 0px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.brazzale.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/DNV-logo.jpg\" alt=\"DNV-logo\" width=\"79\" height=\"79\" \/>On the 14th of June 2011, the international organization &#8220;DNV &#8211; Det Norske Veritas&#8221; has successfully completed the certification process required by ISO standards, recognizing responsibility and sustainability features to Gran Moravia and to its chain, which has been, for a long time, a peculiar aim of Brazzale group in management of their supply chains.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The aims of the supply chain, on which Gran Moravia was measured, put in evidence, not only the compliance with ISO requirements, but also elements of excellence on key parameters of environmental impact, in order to the safeguard of environment and people.<\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Here are the best considered chain\u2019s parameters, set in the disciplinary of Gran Moravia, that the achieved certification now makes transparent and monitored by a qualified third party:<\/h5>\n<p><strong>[list type=&#8221;bullet&#8221;]<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The allocation of 5 hectares minimum of land for each single bovine in lactation;<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>The free stabling with individual berths for more than 90% of cattle raised;<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>A load of nitrates, per hectare, six times lower than the EU limits;<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>A limit ten times more restrictive than the one indicated by the law, concerning the presence of natural aflatoxins of the forage into the milk in the stable: such a low value turns in a final product with no aflatoxins at all.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>[\/list]<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Gran Moravia chain, presented to the public for the first time during CIBU 2010, daily collects milk from more than <strong>18,000 high-genealogically cows<\/strong>, bred in a network of <strong>80 farms<\/strong> directly coordinates from Brazzale technicians.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The extension of farms covers nearly <strong>90,000 hectares of land<\/strong> in the beautiful farming area of Moravia, Czech Republic, where best fodder, for the production of the long seasoning hard cheese Gran Moravia, are cultivated.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" style=\"margin: 0px 10px 5px 0px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.brazzale.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/Araldo-Filiera.jpg\" alt=\"Araldo-Filiera\" width=\"227\" height=\"252\" \/>\u201cWith this great step &#8211; says the project manager Roberto Brazzale &#8211; we want to offer our customers the absolute guarantee about the extraordinary characteristics of Gran Moravian chain, tracing every stage of production from field to the final product.
